Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on the dealer model, territories, equipment and how restoration compares to replacement.

Is Sillacore a franchise?

No. You operate under your own company name, not ours, and there are no franchise fees or royalties. Sillacore is the product you apply and the system you use to run and market your business. Because the package includes lead generation, it is regulated as a business opportunity, and you will receive the required written disclosure at least seven days before any payment.

How much does a Sillacore dealership cost?

The dealership is a single one-time package investment with no franchise fee, no royalties and no monthly platform fee. We share full pricing and what is included during the qualification process, before any commitment.

Do I need roofing experience to become a dealer?

No. The model is designed for capable people who are new to coatings. Dealers start with small repairs and grow into full restorations, with our team supporting takeoffs and quotes on early jobs.

Do I need a crew or employees?

A typical 6,000 sq ft job is you plus one helper for two to three days. Repairs are one person, half a day. You do not need employees to start.

What equipment do I need to supply myself?

The package includes the application and safety kit. You supply a pressure washer, an extension ladder and a vehicle. Because Sillacore is squeegee and roller applied, no spray rig is required.

How do Sillacore territories work?

Territories are semi-exclusive, sized around 250,000 population, and are held by meeting an annual product minimum rather than paying a fee. Your lead list and ad targeting are scoped to your territory.

Where are dealerships available?

We are launching in Sunbelt markets first, where the application season runs most of the year. Request information to check availability in your area.

What kind of buildings do dealers work on?

Small commercial flat roofs between 3,000 and 12,000 sq ft: machine shops, auto and tire shops, churches, daycares, restaurants, self-storage and small offices. The owner is usually on site and makes the decision.

Why restoration instead of replacement?

A tear-off on a 6,000 sq ft roof typically runs $60,000 to $90,000 and shuts the building down for a week. A restoration is roughly $24,000, takes two to three days, and the business stays open. It can also often be expensed as maintenance rather than capitalised.
